Jason Patchett, Chairman of Reform UK North Norfolk condemns the theft, from private property, of Union and Remembrance flags one day before we prepare to pay homage to our fallen.

8th November 2025

Mr James Morrison of Ludham, has stated that he will accept an apology and consider the matter closed if the flags are returned. He appeals to the conscience of those responsible, and to the goodwill of the local community, for their swift restoration. Norfolk Constabulary has been informed, and an investigation is underway.
Reform UK North Norfolk Chairman, Jason Patchett, said “I served for over 20 years in the Royal Navy.
Remembrance Sunday is a sacred day for veterans, and I understand Mr Morrisons’s fury and feelings of
violation. I appeal to the better angels of the perpetrators to see sense and return our great national
symbols to Mr Morrison.”
